Lomega Student Council held their annual Veterans Day program on November 11th. Veterans in attendance were treated to a meal served by student council members. At the school wide assembly, each military branch was escorted in and Claire Myers, Lance Yost, Brenden Uhlenhake, and Madi Bragg presented the colors. We were honored to have Jason Burch as our guest speaker. He served in the United State Marines and is currently a State Trooper. “So God Made a Veteran” was presented by Brayli Walker, Jaxson Snowden, Adian Gilles, Laken Lewallen, and Bree Yost. Hadley Ott recited “I Am the Flag,” while student council members Cameron Ramer, Molly Tisdale, Emily Schellenberg, Reagan Snowden, Kollins Banister, Jacky Penaran, Noah Lentz, Olivia Landreth, Jackson Ogle, and Addi Freelander presented the meaning behind the Missing Man Table.
